Antler
The material used in the pen is Canadian Moose, Deer or Elk Antler; shed annually as a prelude to the re-growth, of new ones. Every year the cycle is the same. In the spring antlers begin to grow from the skull covered with a tissue called “velvet”. Between mid-November & March is when moose, deer or elk in British Columbia typically lose their antlers.
